FINAL JACK PSUEDO TRAILER

As a group we have finally accomplished our main goal and produced a trailer that we are truly proud of. After doing various research on our targeted audience and using feedback from a variety of people, we believe we created something a wide range of people will enjoy. To further promote our trailer we used social media sites such as 'Facebook' as in our questionnaire we identified this as peoples favorite social media website.

FINAL MAGAZINE COVER

This is our final design for the magazine EMPIRE. We have used the iconic logo at the top of the page with a tagline above that relates to the issue. The main character is featured largest with the two supporting characters below within Jack Psuedo to represent him manipulating the pair. The two figures are semi-transparent to add to the supernatural/ghost-like story line. Surrounding the main image of the actors is various fonts promoting different films. These had to be specifically researched to remain realistic and accurate. Furthermore, the film's logo is featured towards the bottom of the page to differentiate away from other films and make clear to the viewer the issue's main article. The title has a caption below relating to critical reception - another key aspect of journalism within the magazine. A barcode has been added on the cover to further add realism, with a date and price. Finally, a sticker-type effect has been used with the circular shape featured "30" as the biggest part to attract the audience, as seen on other publications from our research.

MAGAZINE COVER DEVLOPMENT

This is our initial design for "Empire" magazine, featuring a masthead, tagline, and various film titles relating to the horror genre in different fonts to act as logos for the films. We kept a fairly neutral tone to the design to tie everything together and give a more professional appearance after researching existing magazine covers. To further add realism, we have included a bar code, date, and sticker-like object. The main cast photos were taken from a second shoot that was developed from our first initial shoot ideas, shot in the college photography studio, in more appropriate costumes. Layering was used between the character shots to relate to the supernatural element/story line featured in our movie trailer. To improve the cover, we think we could add sub-titles to annotate and describe the films promoted in the issue. Also, a bigger variety of fonts could be used to differentiate each film. A price would also benefit the next design, to further appear realistic to the audience.
